Well, that's twenty four more marines done except for the sergeant banners, the plasma glow on one pistol and the power weapons on three models.
And here are the weapons / arms I need to paint to truly finish the lot. All magnetised of course :)
So below is the latest batch of marines I've been working on. Still working on the base coat colours before I get onto any highlighting, but they are coming along. All the arms / weapons in front haven't been touched yet apart from the obvious gold base coat as I wanted to get the bodies done first. I'm hoping to get them all done by around this time next week, but failing that, the week after.
Bit of a boring text only update I'm afraid. I've decided to finally get around to completing the first company. Which means doing up twenty vanguard and thirty sternguard. I'm in the process of assembling the 10 of each I have already and have ordered the remaining minis from my local store Because of where I'm living at the moment, that means they should hopefully arrive in 2 - 3 weeks. I'm hoping that will be enough time to get the twenty guys I've got on my table done.
Well, I've finished painting the last of the rhinos I already had assembled. Painting the rest should prove less problematic as I can paint parts like doors before attaching them to the model so I have to worry about overspray etc from the airbrush considerably less than I did for these ones.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
